Come join us on April 14 – 18, 2015 at the Clark County Fairgrounds in Winchester, Kentucky (right outside of Lexington) to celebrate and compete in the 25th United Doberman Club National, hosted by the Working Dobermans of the Carolinas.
In honor of the 25th anniversary of the United Doberman Club, each UDC member that has a UDC registered dog entered in an event at the National will receive a $25.00 Health Certificate. Upon proof of completion of one or more health tests that are listed on the certificate, the certificate can be redeemed for a $25.00 credit that can be applied towards UDC Membership dues or a FOCUS advertisement. Certain restrictions apply and are listed on the certificate.
Conducted by Dr. Johanna Reimer. Cost: Echo – $185, Echo w/Doppler – $250. This will require pre-registration and will be held on Wednesday, April 15th at the fairgrounds. We will need a minimum of 8 dogs to hold the clinic. If you are interested, please contact Lindsay Davis at firstname.lastname@example.org so that we have an idea if we can meet the minimum requirement.

I have been working as a decoy for the last 15 years. During that time, I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to live in several different locations in the Southeast, and train as a decoy at various clubs throughout that region. I also assisted in forming two new clubs during that time, and served as their president. I have worked as decoy at numerous Club trials, Regional trials, and National Events for DVG America, United Schutzhund Clubs of America, and for several of the breed clubs as well. I would like to thank the UDC for inviting me to participate in this event, and want to wish all the competitors good luck!
All events, except IPO, will be held at the Clark County Fairgrounds with IPO being held at Dragonsmeade Farm. There is a very nice IPO field at Dragonsmeade as there is an IPO club that trains there and has hosted a number of IPO trials. Tracking will be grass. There are websites for both of these locations. Lunch will be available each day at the fairgrounds (Tuesday thru Thursday) and at the IPO grounds (Friday and Saturday).
We expect to be able to offer the IPO grounds as a practice field. There will be sign up sheets posted at a later date for tracking and field times. Helpers will be announced shortly.
Vendor booths will be available at the fairgrounds. For more information contact Lindsay Davis at email@example.com.
We greatly appreciate the generous hospitality of Dragonsmeade Morgan Horse Farm, owned by Kee and Susan Fu, for the use of their beautiful grounds for the IPO Championship as well as Charlie Starr of Drache Feld German Shepherds. You will not only have an excellent IPO field and tracking to compete on but also experience a magnificent Kentucky horse farm. Thank you!

We are not having a “host hotel” for the National. We were unable to negotiate any reduced rates, waived pet fees, etc., therefore, people have many choices where they choose to stay depending on the amenities they prefer. There are many options for hotels (all approximately 7 miles to the Clark County Fairgrounds) depending on what direction you are coming in from (I-75 or I-64) as to where you might want to stay. Below are a couple of the pet friendly hotels in Winchester, KY. You will find many more hotels with various amenities and locations (too many to list) by searching your preferences.
